  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt , to taste

Method:

Start Cooking
  • Heat a small pan over a medium-low heat.
  • Add the butter and let it melt without browning.
  • Crack in the eggs and season lightly with salt.
  • Let the whites cook slowly. Gently guide the whites with a spatula.
  • When the whites are set, gently break the yolks and swirl them into the butter and whites.
  • Cook just until softly set.
  • Serve warm. Bon appétit.

Notes:

From our kitchen
  • Lower heat gives you softer eggs.
  • Don’t rush the whites. Let them cook before breaking the yolks.
  • A wooden spatula keeps the eggs soft and intact.

Make it yours
  • Sprinkle black seeds (nigella), crushed red pepper, or black pepper.
  • Add a pinch of dried herbs or fresh parsley.

At the table
  • Serve with warm bread to scoop straight from the pan.
  • Pair with olives and feta.
  • Add sliced tomatoes and cucumbers on the side.
