Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp onion, grated, lightly squeezed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped, optional
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, for cooking

Method:

Start Cooking
  • In a bowl, mix everything gently until just combined.
  • Shape into patties about ½–¾ inch thick (wet hands help).
  • Chill 15–20 minutes.
  • Cook on medium heat 4-5 minutes per side, until fully cooked (165°F / 74°C). Bon appétit.

  • Don’t overmix the chicken — it keeps the patties tender.
  • Wet your hands when shaping to prevent sticking.
  • Chill the patties before cooking to help them hold their shape.
  • Cook on medium heat to avoid burning the outside before the inside is done.
  • Always cook chicken patties fully through (no pink inside).

  • Swap breadcrumbs with panko for a lighter texture.
