Chicken Caesar Wrap

Ingredients:
- ½ cup chicken breast, cooked and diced
- 1 tbsp Caesar dressing
- 1 tbsp plain yogurt
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, shredded
- 1 whole wheat 8-inch wrap
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
Method:
Start Cooking- In a medium bowl, combine the chicken, Caesar dressing, yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Lay the wrap on a flat surface. Spoon the chicken mixture across the lower third of the wrap. Top with the romaine lettuce and Parmesan cheese.
- Fold in the left and right sides. Starting from the bottom, roll tightly into a wrap.
- Slice in half and serve immediately. Bon appétit.
Notes:
- Warm the wrap for 10–15 seconds before assembling to make it more flexible and easier to roll.
- Pat the lettuce dry after washing to prevent the wrap from becoming soggy.
- For the neatest wrap, place the filling slightly below the center and roll tightly while tucking in the sides.
- If making ahead, store the chicken mixture and lettuce separately and assemble just before serving.
- Use rotisserie chicken for a quick and easy shortcut.
- Swap in baked chicken strips for a more flavorful chicken option.
- Use grilled chicken for a smoky flavor.
- Add sliced avocado for extra creaminess.
- Include cherry tomatoes for a fresh, juicy bite.
- Swap the whole wheat wrap for spinach, tomato, or gluten-free wraps.
- Toss in a handful of crushed croutons for extra crunch.
- Turn it into a salad by serving the filling over extra romaine instead of wrapping it.
- Serve with fresh fruit for an easy lunch.
- Pair with a cup of soup for a simple, satisfying meal.
- Add crunchy vegetables such as cucumber, carrots, or bell peppers on the side.
- Cut the wrap in half and secure with toothpicks for picnics, lunch boxes, or casual gatherings.

FROM THE PANTRY
Caesar dressing
WHY WE LOVE IT
Caesar dressing brings creamy texture, bright acidity, and savory flavor to every bite. A small amount goes a long way, coating the chicken while keeping the wrap fresh and balanced.
A LITTLE STORY
Caesar dressing traces its roots to the original Caesar salad, created by Caesar Cardini in Tijuana during the 1920s. While the salad started as a simple table-side preparation, its signature dressing became the star of the dish. Today, Caesar dressing is used far beyond salads, finding its way into wraps, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and grain bowls.
DID YOU KNOW?
Caesar dressing sits at the center of a food-history debate. The creator was Italian, the salad was invented in Mexico, and it became a restaurant favorite across the United States. That international journey is one reason Caesar-inspired recipes feel at home in so many kitchens.
