Notes:
- Use frozen mango for the best texture. It creates a naturally thick and creamy smoothie without needing ice.
- If using fresh fruit, add 2–3 ice cubes for extra chill.
- Taste before serving. If your mango is not very sweet, you can add 1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup.
- Add 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds for extra nutrition and fiber.
- Swap the almond milk with coconut milk or oat milk for a slightly different flavor.
- For a protein boost, blend in ¼ cup Greek yogurt or a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
- If you prefer a thicker smoothie bowl, reduce the milk slightly and top with granola, coconut flakes, or fresh fruit.
- Enjoy right away while cold and creamy. It makes a refreshing breakfast, light snack, or post-workout drink.
- Pour into a to-go cup for busy mornings or school runs.
- Pair it with toast, yogurt, or a handful of nuts for a more filling start to the day.

Mango
WHY WE LOVE IT
Mangoes are cherished around the world as the “King of Fruits” for their irresistible sweetness and creamy texture. Beyond their delicious flavor, they are also a nutritional powerhouse. One cup provides about 100% of your daily Vitamin C, around 35% of Vitamin A, and is rich in fiber and antioxidants.
A LITTLE STORY
Originating in the Hindo-Berma region over 5,000 years ago, mangoes were first cultivated in India and later spread through Asia by Buddhist monks. Global trade routes established by Portugese and Spanish explorers in the 15th and 16th centuries eventually introduced the fruit to Africa and the Americas.
It is the national fruit of India, Pakistan, and the Philippines, and the national tree of Bangladesh.
DID YOU KNOW?
Frozen mango is often sweeter and more consistent than fresh mango because it is picked and frozen at peak ripeness. It also helps create thick, creamy smoothies without needing ice.
If your mango is too firm, place it in a brown paper bag at room temperature to speed up ripening. Never refrigerate an unripe mango, as it will stop the ripening process entirely.
